Akelos is the Mac of the PHP Frameworks. Once you try it you never go back to other frameworks you thought were the best.
It really intuitive once you start using it. Cleverly designed and with a helpful community. Posted by Kobu
I love the simplicity of Sintags and helpers.
Migrations are also great!
Wish it had more popularity and get the attention it deserved in order to really pair it with RoR. Posted by Vlad
After 2 months trying and reviewing Akelos, Cake, CodeIgniter, Symfony and Zend code, and agility our company is jumping into the Akelos way.
We also do Rails, and Akelos has the best of Rails plus the best of PHP. Posted by Davor
Discovered Akelos 2 weeks ago (thank you phpframeworks.com) for a project with an estimate of 2 months (using Cake).
Just finished my project tanks to Akelos.
Akelos rocks and its creator Bermi has made a great job releasing it Open Source.
I also don't get the bad score due to inflexibility. Every method accepts an array with options for customizing the way each function works. Only options that are used 95% times have a fixed variable order. That helped me not to bother looking at the docks as Akelos methods and parameters are really thorough.
Kudos Akelos. Posted by Justine
I feel crap has not tried Akelos yet.
It is easy to blame without knowledge.
Try Akelos and you'll learn time saver you're missing.
