I’m a total Adam Young Fan, I’m in love with all of his projects (Port Blue, Insect Airport, Seagull Orchestra, Windsor Airlift, Sky Sailing and OF COURSE Owl City <3 (:!)

However, I was searching the internet and I kept stumbling upon different rumors, all about his supposed girlfriend. There were mainly three rumors, that follow like this.

The first one was that Adam’s girlfriend had died, most of the people saying it was a car crash although I saw one that claimed she committed suicide and a couple of others that said the cause of death was unknown. People then proceeded to say that Vanilla Twilight was written for/about her and that he terribly misses her and whatnot. One person also claimed that the girls name was Brielle, and the song Brielle that was recorded by Sky Sailing was about her, while other people claimed that the dead girlfriends name was Aleena.

The second rumor was that there was no dead girlfriend. It stated that he currently had a girlfriend named Ann, although I only saw a few people saying this.

The third rumor also stated that there was no girlfriend. However it was said that, in some interview, Adam stated how he was in love with a girl in high school, however they lost touch and just recently they began to meet again and that he was ‘crazy about her’ and all his ‘cozy songs’ were about her. People then went on to say that Vanilla Twilight was written about her (even though I thought Vanilla Twilight was about a person who died) and someone else also claimed her name was Brielle while someone else said her name was Ann.

So yes, many different rumors and variations which I’ve spotted all over the internet on different sites as soon as I google “Adam Young’s girlfriend”. I just want a straight answer because all of these different stories are very much confusing me ):
