I have been given this essay on my favorite place, i was jus wondering what you thouht it of it as it is part of my GCSE. Please let me no ways which you think i can improve it and jus let me know your opinion. and maybe tell me something i could add to make it better:) My Favorite Place The water was cold. As soon as it touched me, my legs turned to jelly, but it was relaxing in a way. It made me think that the world was calm in that moment. No worries, no problems. I didn't want the thought to leave my mind. I could only wonder what the sandy ocean floor looked like. The feel of moist sand, squished between my toes, cool water rising up to my ankles relieving stress off my mind. It's a place where I can sit and think the best where nothing matters but what's in that little moment, this place is the ocean. The rolling ocean water sent a wave of salty liquid into my mouth, which didn't make me mad at all. It just reassured me that even though everything in the world wasn't at peace, the ocean was. The deep blue waves crashed over the rocks and sounded like a symphony to my ears. The piercing call of the seagulls seemed to bother some, but maybe they didn’t understand the true beauty of this sandy sanctuary. I couldn't fathom how beautiful it was. Everything at ease. I walked across the beach engraving lines in the sand with my toes. I wanted to go beneath the ocean surface and listen to what the fished talked about, and what the divers gloated about. It was so beautiful. Everything was in order, from the baby sea turtles to the jellyfish that occasionally appeared on the sand. I wanted to stay here forever. Soon the big ball of orange wax in the sky would melt into the ocean, bringing the day to an end, which made me fret. But, I know I would enjoy the sight of the brilliant glow. The beach made everything else seem so insignificant. The sound of the waves comforted my ears, like a hum of an angel, sliding into my senses. I didn’t want to leave my favorite place with all its serenity. We humans neglect and mistreat it. It’s one of Earth’s most natural beauties and my most beloved place to be, to dream and to live.
